Fresh flowers can help bring out a positive emotional response in potential buyers. Decorating magazines understand the effect flowers have. That’s why you won’t see a home showcased in those magazines without flowers. Boost the appeal of your home beginning with the ideas listed below.

Flowers plants and trees should be used in to draw the buyer’s eye toward key strengths and away from weaknesses. Flowers can also add an impact and a pop of color to a nice but otherwise drab room

Traditional or classical style rooms call for more formal arrangements. Roses, gladiolas, and irises, work well, as do carnations, lilies, freesia or snapdragons.

Floral accents can enhance the desired color palette of any room and help evoke the desired positive emotional response from potential buyers. Blues and greens are soothing colors while reds and yellows are energizing colors.

If you have a large room, put a large plant in the most visible corner. Silk trees work well. This type of accent often improves the buyer’s perception of a large space.

Outside, put several small pots of flowers or a planter on a window sill. Add a hanging basket or several containers of flowers. The goal is to help the potential buyer imagine what they could do with that area.

Flowers are an easy and inexpensive ways to improve the curb appeal of your home. Planting flowers in planter boxes and pots is easier than planting them in the ground. It also allows you to easily place them where they can have the most visual impact.

Staging homes for sale has become a requirement for those who want to sell their homes more quickly and for more money. Homes that are staged properly will be warm, cozy and romantic – and they will sell. Flowers are an important part of staging. Whether you do it yourself or hire a professional staging company, make sure staging is part of the plan.
